Become a Volunteer Member

As a member, you are also eligible to become a volunteer at the Park.

This is a wonderful place to meet people, make new friends, share talents, and learn new skills. The sense of accomplishment that comes from helping create and enjoy a beautiful space is truly rewarding.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, with a wide range of skills and interests. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we have a place for you. Most of our volunteers participate twice a week; however, any time you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

As an active volunteer, you may also qualify for additional member benefits based on the number of recorded volunteer hours contributed to Park operations. Benefits may include:

  • Discounted event rentals in the John Beedle Centre and other Park areas
  • Access to grow vegetables in the trial garden
  • Discounted perennial plant purchases
  • Discounts at participating local businesses

Specific details regarding volunteer hours required for individual benefits are available upon request.
