This is a Garden Not to be Missed
Not everyone realizes the extent of this garden when they first come through the main entrance into the parking lot. Some areas are partially tucked away behind the gazebo and many visitors leave without paying it a visit. The Entrance Garden with its changing displays from year to year sets the tone for the beauty you will find within our Botanic Park.
Carefully chosen trees, shrubs and perennials provide the framework for the colourful annuals that bring the 'Wow' factor to the garden. In 2004 the metal overhead arch was installed as well as the raised planters on either side. Flower beds were designed the following year expanding the area to provide a definite 'garden' experience for visitors as they stroll along a stepping stone walkway or just sit and watch birds coming to the birdbath.
As with so many other spots in the St. Albert Botanic Park, the Entrance Garden always has something in bloom and is a great location for photos. Make sure you take the time to see this beautiful garden when you visit us.
