Help us Pave Memory Lane

The St. Albert Botanic Park is a beautiful five acre botanical garden that has grown into what it is today thanks to the time, effort and financial support provided by community members and garden lovers alike.

Over the years volunteers have constructed paths from the gazebo through Crabapple Lane, the Cottage Garden and the Restful Garden.  This has allowed easier access for visitors with strollers, walkers, wheelchairs or others with mobility challenges.  Often missed during their visit were the outstanding and colourful displays of Asiatic Lilies, Daylilies, Iris and Lilacs. These along with our collection of pines, the Habitat Garden and numerous trees and shrubs are all located in the west Park where we did not have a paved path.

Construction of Memory Lane

The St. Albert Botanic Park began the Engraved Brick Campaign in spring of 2021 to raise funds to complete a brick pathway so that everyone can enjoy all that the West Park has to offer. With the popularity of this project, we have made allowances in the path and are able to continue to sell bricks for installation even though construction of the path was completed in August 2022.  It is not too late if you would like to see a brick celebrating your family history with a personalized inscription of names, dates, a special occasion or a favorite saying or memory in Memory Lane.

Engraved Bricks are available in two sizes:

6 " x 9" - $300         9" x 9" - $500

A choice of images is available if you wish to add to your brick.

Further details and a brick request are available on this Form to request a brick

(A tax receipt will be issued in the amount of the brick you purchased.)

If you are interested in purchasing an engraved brick paving stone and require further information please contact us:   Email  [email protected]

Donations without a purchase of a brick are always welcomed and appreciated as we continue to enhance and care for the Park.  Donations can be made online through CanadaHelps.

All Donations of $25 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Thank You
